Taber Extrusions is an Arkansas-based manufacturer comprised of two facilities that provide a wide variety of aluminum extrusions and value added services to our customers.  The combined facilities employ more than 200 individuals. The Russellville, Arkansas manufacturing facility continues to undergo major capital improvements and equipment upgrades. Due to the commitment to innovation, Taber continues to add to its workforce and has a current opening for a Lead Maintenance Mechanic.

The successful candidate will provide direction to Maintenance Mechanics in accordance with management instructions, act as a liaison between production and maintenance departments, collaborate with production management and supervision to prioritize maintenance work. They will utilize computers and software to document maintenance repairs and procedures and to monitor and troubleshoot complex control systems such as PLCs and temperature controllers. They will utilize advanced troubleshooting techniques to diagnose and repair machinery and related systems, assist in the repair of machinery and related systems including, mechanical systems, electrical and mechanical components of machinery, hydraulic systems utilizing hand tools, power tools, test equipment, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school education or equivalent
• 3 to  5 years related experience or training
• 2+ years supervisory experience
• A technical degree preferred
